Updated: Apr 7

Three great wines with reasonable price tag and lots and lots of charm. Enjoy!

Three favorite rosé wines

2018 Côté Mas Organic Rosé France, Languedoc-Roussillon, Pays d'Oc Sweden 89 SEK #2282

9 USD est.

7,5 GBP est.

Sunny and fruity rosé wine from the lavender field covered southern France. Domaines Paul Mas has been producing wines here, where rosé wine has its origin, since the end of the 19th century. Pays d'Oc is the largest wine region in the whole country as well as a collective name for many appelations in the Languedoc-Rousillion. It is reaching all the way from the Pyrenéan mountins to Provence.

Côté Mas Organic Rosé is a organic, balanced, mouth watering and thirst quenching. It offers a whole bowl of sun ripe fruits and berries like orange peel, strawberries and nectarines together with a bundle of fresh herbs. It is a wine light in body but rich in flavour, acidity and versatility. It works as is or with loads of different food like vegetarian dishes, broiled chicken with asparagus and pomegranate salad, schrimp cocktail with spicy tomato dip or grilled langoustines with garlic and fresh parsley.

2019 Marlborough Estate Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Rosé

Nya Zeeland , Marlborough Sweden 99 SEK, #6026 10 USD est. 8 GBP est.

Marlborough is located on New Zeelands south island, in the north east parts. Marlborough Estate is a member of the Sustainable Winegrowers New Zeeland, a initiative from the industry to care for the environment and develope a praxis for sustainable work both in the vineyards and the winery.

This is so crispy, so aromatic, so seductive. We are offered razor sharp acidity, great concentration and notes of green tomatoes, gooseberries, white currants, apricots, pink grapefruit, black currant leafs and a whole bouquet of nettles, parsley and thyme. Enjoy chilled as a aperitif or with oysters, tomato soup, bouillabaisse, chèvre chaud, sallad with grilled tuna, braised snapper with jerusalem artichoke purée or Moules Marinières.

2018 Colle Reale Cerasuolo Rosé Italy , Abruzzo, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Sweden 89 SEK, # 2242

9 USD est.

7,5 GBP est.

Abruzzo is located in the central parts of Italy but is concidered to belong to the south culturally and historically. The vineyards in Abruzzo spreads around the coastal town of Pescara, by the Adriatic sea. The winery Valle Reale Estate was founded in 1998 and is owned by the Pizzolo family and involves 54 hectars of vineyards. Winemaker is Giulio Vecchio and Leonardo Valenti.

A generous, sun drenched and organically grown rosé wine with juicy citrus, yellow plum, red currants, wild strawberries and apricots. Enjoy a generous glass before dinner or with finger food, lobster and aioli, Sole Meunière, smoked salmon, the festive buffé or your tasty BBQ chicken. Extremely versatile!

I hope you get to sip all three of my absolute favourite rosé wines. Cheers!
